Dock Door Stop Go light - invention idea!?

    Well, I run a fold-under, so that means there's an extension on the back. This usually means the dock restraints can't reach the bumper to grab it, thereby rendering the light system irrelevant.

    Just go to sleep and don't worry about it. When you here " Thump, thump, thump " on the side of your sleeper, you'll know it's time to go.

    You're thinking of the rail-mounted ones that slide vertically. We run fold-unders.

    They scare the crap out of me too. When you hit the unfold button. What if someone came running up or something? It'd kill 'em.

    Or those of us who run drop-frame fixed-tandem vans with landing gear between the tandems to raise them to dock height. Dock locks don't work. Ever.

    I actually seen something like this you could order it was something you put on the light that buzzed when it changed colors don't remember the name though

    Ours just have an up and down switch. We unfold them manually.

    It's still wise to keep people back when doing that though. :)

    It is a nice idea just needs a bigger company to take on the idea to make it more economical for drivers to buy it
