All LTL companies around here, dock workers are hooking sets, backing trailers in, fueling trucks, etc. Should have quite a bit of experience before you even have your permit.

There's lots of LTL companies. In my area, AAA Cooper is needing hands now. Guaranteed, any dock worker that makes a hand will be on a truck training in 3 months if they want it.
Gotta be a hand though -

While talking to XPO or OD, did you find anything out about their benefits, 401K, Medical, PTO, sick days, etc...? Benefits are important.
