    Take you're bottle of windshield cleaner, spray some on you're tire, Viola!, now you have a clean wheel. Just be thankful you didn't slide into another truck, or any other object for that matter.

    Lepton1 Thanks this.

    That was my concern that’s why I’m stopping to rinse it out.

    @Concorde I was joking...
    @Mototom that mud must've been DEEP, Concorde is right, you should've photographed the hole. And I wonder, did the truck really SLIDE or did you let it roll a little? If the mud was THAT slippery, the company should give you an "attaboy" for getting out of a hole that buried your steer tire up to the axle after your whole truck slid...

    It slid while the tires were turning I got close to the edge and she slid down. Scared me half to death. The mud was about 8inches where the truck was. When i stepped out around the truck I went knee deep.
    It’s possible the truck could have rolled I’m not trying to shift blame. I am the driver I should have checked how much room I had.

    OLDSKOOLERnWV and booley Thank this.

    For some reason I mistook you for the OP..

    5 days listening to a reefer set at -20 in Miami has scrambled my brain

    D.Tibbitt Thanks this.

    I only got out because I was able to turn the wheel lock the drives and push the front tire back up onto the dock. It took a few minutes to make sure I wouldn’t hurt the bumper or etc.
    They told me they had a guy do the same thing but he popped his tire. Yet the still didn’t think to warn anyone how soft the ground was there

    @Mototom now ya gotta worry about the company giving you grief about the mud inside the truck, but don't worry too much. Me and Concorde are obviously just bored and enjoy busting your stones...

    Carry on driver, the day is BOUND to get better!

    Concorde Thanks this.

    I would have asked the shipper money for a truck wash, or spray the truck off on site.

    I was getting unloaded on a jobsite once. When the truck was empty, I couldn't move! I walked to the front of the truck and my front bumper was on the ground! My right front steer had SANK while I was being unloaded

    D.Tibbitt and Lepton1 Thank this.
