DOCUMENTARY ON WORST COMPANY

Exactly. But nobody wants to take responsibility for their poor choices. They choose to go to a 1099 company. They choose to run big miles because they like the checks. They choose to allow their logs to be edited. But the minute they don’t like it anymore suddenly they were forced to do this or do that.

I did some dumb stuff back when I was hauling cattle but it was my choice to run like I was running and I knew the consequences of my choices.

 

All that tells me is that it’s the drivers who don’t give a fluff. I was expecting to see a high oos rate on the trucks but it’s actually the drivers that make themselves look worse.

 

First of all, nobody’s forcing anyone to work at these companies. You can leave anytime. But me thinks the reason that drivers end up at companies like this is probably because they have an extensive criminal record, probably six felonies, probably a DUI in there and just a hideous prospect to begin with so they end up in a company like this. Because no one else will hire them.

it takes basic common sense and deduction to come to this conclusion. If you’re a competent truck driver, there is always a job waiting for you. Always. You only put up with this kind of stuff when you don’t have a choice because you’re an incompetent truck driver.

 

They don't MAKE YOU do anything. You are their partner in illegal activities. If you do a pretrip and the truck isn't legal, the truck doesn't move until it's legal. Follow the HOS rules or go do something else. You are equally culpable. You're acting illegal and blaming it on them. Yeah, they're bad guys. You chose to stay and do illegal things. YOUR ACTIONS ARE ON YOU!!!

 

Got to bored listening to the video but I did notice he said I’m not lying several times.I’ve listened to enough drivers at the truck stop counter drinking coffee to learn when a truck driver says I’m not lying it means they are lying

 

Hey drivers, if you are this desperate to drive for scum fleets, you need to get the hell out of the industry and work at that Mcdonald's down the road, because until you all have the balls to stop being treated as slaves and get real jobs at fleets that treat drivers good, all you are doing is screwing all of us.

I think these drivers crying about their situation need to quit. No excuses for any of it but as everyone else said - it is on them.

 

With some exceptions, don't work for any companies in the circled area.

 

You're treated the way you allow yourself to be treated.

 

These drivers are desperate to work and probably have limited options based on criminal and or driving record. I can't really fault them because they WANT TO WORK. As far as the owner goes well they need to federally do some major auditing on these fly by night carriers with less than 10 years active and less than 20 drivers. They are the reason rates are low and accidents are high. All the megas have cameras in trucks and don't cheat on logs, many drivers suck but it's nothing like these carriers.
