I have had this recurring nightmare for years now. It's simple, I can't stop, my brakes just don't work. I'm never going fast but I can't get my rig to stop. Eventually, I always end up rolling my truck. I'm never hurt, I think the scary part to me is the impact it would have on my career.

Anyway, anyone else have these? Thought it might be funny to hear some good dream stories.

Next time, in your dream, pull the red and yellow knobs.

Or, since youre never hurt, kick her into neutral.

Does sitting here looking for answers to the meaning of life qualify for a nightmare?

Hahaha, wish I was on a layover. I'm sitting home on the couch surfing, lerking, waiting to pounce on the next vulnerable brokered load that fits my trailer.....:evil3:

Yes, I had one yesterday. I had to do a re-gen yesterday, and pulled under a shade tree at a wide open rest area. I started the re-gen and jumped in the sleeper for a well deserved 25 minute nap. Right when the re-gen was over and the truck started idling down, I woke up.

For a nano second, I thought the truck was in motion and I was in the bunk. Scared the crap out of me.

I had a lot of really vivd trucking nightmares when I started driving. Rolling, jackknifing, unable to stop, losing steering on a mountain curve, etc.

After about 5 years, they became very mundane trucking dreams. I will drive my 10-11 hours and then go to sleep and dream that I am driving, minus all the catastrophes.

I can't count the amount of those experiences I've encountered, thinking I'm rolling when the truck next to me is leaving and I push the brake pedal thru the floor to stop rolling.
