Just don't assume they know you're in a 53' semi, tell them...I had a recent adventure when I assumed receiver knew and told me I could park and sleep behind their building...I pulled in, went around back and ended up having to back up and block 4 lanes of traffic, not fun...

well i get hourly pay unless I run over 499 miles in a day then it switches to mileage pay, kind of a different setup. boss said if he paid guys all hourly they would drag out runs.

I have not got lost yet well except I tend to forget where I parked in a truckstop sometimes. I have missed exits and turned the wrong way but always find my way back. I have taken shortcuts in Pa and WV that I wish I would have never taken. I do not do this anymore.
