does anyone know what these cables are? volvo vnl

    does anyone know what these cables are? I am a newbie and went to install my cb and the cb studs are dead. I checked the fuse box under the dash and f79 is the fuse and it is good but the cb studs are dead,,. However there are a lot of cables and things in the compartment that I have no idea what they are?

    It looks they left wiring from the old type disp. box, you can tape them up or follow them and unhook them?

    Yeppers, looks like an elog that was removed. Are there bare cables behind the passenger seat also?
    I'd simply trace them all back and remove them. They have nothing to do with the cb studs, but keeping old wiring around is always a bad idea.
