I’ve had AT&T for a few years since Nextel got bought out, works pretty good most of the time, some dead spots up in VT but that’s normal
Does anyone use at&t for cell service while trucking?

I switched to AT&T from Verizon a couple months ago. Main reason was Verizon has limited data in Canada where I run a lot, whereas AT&T has been unlimited.
So far AT&T has been good, even a few bucks cheaper than Verizon. I do hit a dead zone crossing the Adirondacks, but Verizon was the same way. -
If there is an invisible limit, I haven't found it yet. -
We were early t mobile because our friends oldest son worked for them.
We had a discount that the stor poeple would look at on their screen and quietly say 'how did you get that discont?".
My cabin in the Poconos15 min north of Rt 80 was 15 min too far from a tower.
After faling [breaking fib/tib] I changed to AT&T; the service the paramedic was using.
Same guy said Verizon was the same way, get a little distance from the interstate and done.
Now T Mobile 5-g upgrade after merging with sprint has broadeded to cover this area, the bother of the now former T mobile sales guy is sad that he now has coverage at the cabin.... -

One strange thing I have run across with T-Mobile...
I have a 5G hotspot device, and my phone is 4GLTE.
There are places where I seem to have a good 5G signal but the speed on my computer is very slow. I can't even get this site, let alone streaming on Netflix.
But if I use my 4G phone as the hotspot the speed is much faster.
I tend to call tech support when that happens to let them know.
I just recently switched over to the T-Mobile 5G home internet.
Around 450Mbps download and 75Mbps upload speeds is what I am getting.
I'll have to try to remember to do the speed test while I'm on the road in different places. -
I have a company provided phone with ATT and while I don't know their data plan, I've streamed 142GB in one month and was never throttled. I am always over 100GB every month, except the last few months since I've been recovering from being shot.
I will say that while my phone works, I have a weak signal at the Loves in Batesville MS. I can't stream my football games if I'm parked there. -
I'm with mostly everyone else here. I've had Verizon and AT&T simultaneously on two separate phones and their services were identical. Both also have affordable pre-paid plans. I use network unlocked phones only so I can take them to basically any network. Ultimately, I've have been with AT&T for several years and I'm very happy with them. It's extremely rare if I don't have a signal.

GYPSY65 Thanks this. -
I’ve had AT&T since they first started in the business
Once in a great while I might have an issue but assume others would be the same
I’ve never had any reason to look at another carrier -
I’m very happy with att. Couple times billing got goofed up. No problem taking care of it. Second time they caught it before I even called in. Not like Verizon who demands pay for providing nothing.
TMobil ..someone else paid my bill. Tried repeatedly to find out what happened and pay my bill. What did they do? Cancelled my method of payment. Bye bye tmobil.
