i am more considered about safety of load this looks to me very weak we use strong sideboards with strong steel reinfocments and also had problems with leak and other things because of "expansion of freight" ( its force on sideboards)
does anyone use this ( flatbed-hooper trailer)

do you mean generally or only in this segment?
if you look for example on this scania (picture taken in 2008 )
this was 1-2 month old truck
i am 100% sure on all of this images all trucks except that scania serie 3 on first picture are younger than 5years when picture was taken
![[IMG]](proxy.php?image=http%3A%2F%2Fi166.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fu87%2Fbarun98989%2FP7120178.jpg&hash=a161783734a1702ade95e04c8b46a742)
so as you can see this kind of vehicle is quite expensive
truck itself cost about 190 000-200 000€ with tax
so you need to work a lot to pay this truck so people mainly use one trailer for two trucks lifetime
if you say dirty this kind of load is specific when you load and unload it there is a lot of dust so it all sticks to truck
if you are talking generally when truck went from my town to holland for example amsterdam it is 1300-1400km every truck will be dirty and my town is near SLO if you are going from far towns it is additional 500km
if you are talk why trucks are old generally , they are actually quite new for our conditions
so if you look at this :
hauling 25t ton of netto load from town split to zagreb on hill roads , you get 230€
if you are going off highway with only 45km of highway this is 370km
fuel consumption will be 40-42L if you are loaded in both direction or 35-37L if you are loaded only in one direction
if you are going on highway it is 420km
fuel consumptionis 35-37L if you are loaded in both direction or 30-32 if only in one direction
fuel is now about 1.3€/L
so if you are going on highway loaded in both direction you will need at least 147L of fuel so this is 190€ only for fuel and 71€ for toll
if you are going off highway loaded in both direction you need 195€ for fuel
and 9€ for toll
so if we note that we had here lot expensive regitration and other thing is is clear why trucks are older than in west EU
also in my town 35% of all netto income ( when you remove all expenses) is special tax and 23% is regular tax ( but this price of 230€ is without this regular tax) -
Whe drive about 1.000.000KM with it, and than buy a new truck.
-
we mainly buy used truck with 500-600 k km and keep it until 1200000
or if someone buys new one it keeps it until 500-600k -
Were did you have it built and how much did it cost?
