Nothing out of the ordinary. Things usually get a bit off kilter around holiday weekends. Have you called in and asked what the deal is?
There's always been a bit of ebb and flow as long as I've worked here. I know you've said you're a workaholic but I don't sweat the weeks I only work 50 hours because I know they're gonna beat me like a rented mule soon enough.
Does anyone works for Sherwin-Williams??

Yea they sent out mass message this week that they're hoping this ebb will be over by Labor Day.

Are Sherwin Williams drivers union? How is the health insurance there?

@Longarm would be the most knowledgeable about union conditions up north, but none of the drivers from Texas/Colorado are. Oddly enough part of the mixing plant in Garland is union, not sure how a mixed shop works.
As far as the equipment Penske handles it for us, and if something is going on with the equipment they're good about getting it taken care. Finally my overall opinion of SW is great. My uncle passed last week, and was given ample time to spend with family as well as attend the viewing and services.
The money you make (at least as a regional delivery) is good, and can be great when things go your way if you are willing to put in the effort.RubyEagle, InTooDeep, JoeyJunk and 1 other person Thank this. -
