Does anyone works for Sherwin-Williams??

i once applied they denied me, but after talking to their recruiter i dont care i make more money where im at running flatbed from what ibe heard they are a good company just get ready for some crazy level backing skills

 

I run out of Effingham for almost a year now.

I live 450 miles from Effingham and we have lots of drivers that live farther away.

I've also heard Effingham is the only DSC that hires remotely like we do. Does anyone know if Reno or Moreno Valley hire remotely?

Moving out of the Midwest winters crosses my mind every year so I'm wondering about living in Vegas and having my home DSC be either Reno or Moreno. Does anyone know if that's possible?

While I'm at it I'll throw in that I've also got a tanker endorsement and am wondering about tanker lanes out here also.

NO. Too far and the 95 is a death- speed trap and it's a Long boring drive. You will lose your mind after a couple of turns. If you have tanker try apex as they run ash to the mine outside of Tonopah or Moreno valley. They used to called slavepex but after running all the drivers off I heard they are human beings again. Lots of work in vegas without killing yourself

I had the same experience, my credit is bad right now because I had a business fail back in 2018- that's the only reason they won't even look at me. It's ridiculous.

I'm looking with staying with CTS as I move west and will pull tankers if its right, but mostly I'm wondering about living away from the DSC as I do here.

And believe me. I'll take a boring drive through the desert.

As I understand it we had 3 or 4 guys stuck in the blizzard and they spent the Christmas holiday watching the snow blow around over Christmas. And missed Christmas at home.

So whining about boring drives can stop any time now.

Effingham is NOT the only DSC to hire remotely. The ones out west do also.

 

Just checking in. Work has been slow, but still paying more than enough despite inflation. Looking forward to better weather and the major uptick in work I've heard about. Would have been in the national side last week, but with 70 being shutdown in Colorado ended up rotating back into my home dsc.
