OK, with the new regulations CSA 2010, my understanding is that this will go back several years. Your entire driving record plus all jobs will be on it. Companies cannot edit it. Its strictly a when and where you were cited for anything and your jobs. If you have had more than a certain number of jobs in a given time you cannot be hired. Something like 5 in 7 years or something like that. They say they are doing that to stop what they believe are bad drivers that are dodging drug tests and past driving history. When you get popped for a random you can quit. Clean up and get another job, get popped for a random quit etc etc. Thats what I was told. As for DAC or whatever they call it, I'm with the guy that said get away from the companies that use it. I had a fleet owner with R&O put down I had a preventable accident after I parked his truck on his yard and quit. The next company asked about it and when I told them what happened they ignored it.
Does changing companies hurt your DAC?
