Nope. HUB drivers do and the Combo position which used to be called Utility, can. If you’re on a scheduled linehaul run, or extraboard, you’ll never see the dock unless walking across it to get to the dock shack or dispatch. In which case, watch out for forklifts. Especially at the 028 (Chicago).Texas_hwy_287 Thanks this.

Cant go wrong with dayton freight, pay overtime after 40 hrs, nice equipment and drivers are overall happy. Can't beat that. I really wish they would open a terminal in texas.

Does the linehaul work the dock.
-
See my other post. The short answer is no.
-
How did you get 'em to return your call? I couldn't get hold of a real person at all.
-
What's the hometime like for Estes drivers? I assume P&D are home daily but what about the regional OTR? How hard is it to get into linehaul?
-
Most linehaul or hub runs are home daily. Some have a layover day.
Extra board is the regional, they're out 5 days home 2.
Runs depends on what terminal you end up with. Big enough one you might find a run quickly. Small one, you might be on extra board for a while.EuropeanTrucker Thanks this.
