Knoxville sucks. I can't remember if it's a major terminal or not but Smyrna (Nashville) is a major terminal. Just got rebuilt. It's huge and they're hiring drivers there. I'd rather work out of 037 (Nashville) before Knoxville.

Nashville added 80 something doors and parking lot for days. I heard guys saying they were adding 25 runs as well.
Knoxville is smaller. It's a hub as well. Like KAO said. Nashville be better to run out of. If your gonna be extraboard it really wont matter until you get a bid. Prolly get one faster in Nashville though.Texas_hwy_287 Thanks this. -
Trucking boards can be a pretty good place to compare freight companies. The exception is the Old Dominion forum which gets derailed by the same two or three guys repeating the same stupid nonsense in every single post. The need a moderator overhaul over there.Bob Dobalina and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this.

What does ODFL pay anyways?

I think it wouldn’t make THAT much of a difference between the two especially the way you’ve been running the last few years. You seem happy and get plenty of miles? I interviewed at both, liked Estes WAY more. The TM at OD was totally a d bag-couldn’t see myself working for someone like that. Just one drivers experience though. Both great companies.speedyk Thanks this.
