What total ignorant drivel. Do you have an education of any type? Font bother replying, I've ignored you so as not too catch whatever stupid you're trying to infect the rest of us with.
I would rebut your facts, but you didn't provide any.
Does freight really slow down?

I was stuck in Laredo for a few days, and never seen so many bobtails, hanging around.
Easy to see there is no freight, when you see bobs everywhere.PackRatTDI Thanks this. -
About 75% of our outbound freight comes from the factories in Mexico. They shut down during the holidays as the workers go home for two weeks during Christmas. We do have a definite slowdown this time of year.

To darthanubis. This is a community forum. Last I checked, it was a place to voice opinions, facts, and lies and hear-say, and everything in between. If you have "facts" to refute anything I said, I imagine we'd all love to hear them so we could feel better. But I suspect anything you might have to say would only be opinion as well, but maybe you in fact have the ability to see into the future and can report "facts from the future" and I will respectfully bow to your special powers.
Bob Dobalina and PackRatTDI Thank this. -
As for the thought that people have to eat, that is true, but they become frugal with their purchases. They buy less, eat out less. Even refer freight slows down during a recession. Trucking is not any more secure as a job than any other job, as for every driver that quits, there are 100 others to take his place.
