Does it seem busy yet?

It has not picked up in south florida. I am getting ready to go back otr.

 

It's moving in Chicago, but not busy by any means......

 

Busy enough to struggle to find a good csx empty.

 

we are swamped here. 400 loads in our yard in joliet as of this morning, I've done 11 drop/hooks since 6 am.

 

I drive local 60 to 65 hours a week, started in March. Drove all winter OTR, when everyone was starving, and the TS's in the south were so packed with skateboards you couldn't even get in them, 70 hours a week.
But I never really was that smart.

 

In our neck of the woods things have really taken back off in the last few weeks to a month or so.

 

Ports are picking up here in nj/ny area but my company seems to have me on a strict diet. Going to wait after vacation before i give them the boot if things dont change. But i am seeing plenty of movement going around. Should trickle down to otr freight if it does just might go otr when rates go up a bit. As of right now its 1.30 and 1.50 cpm for a O/O i cant live on that.

Today: sitting for two hours already - waiting on COCP axle bearing that smoked on me at 80 / 47 at 0530.
