Well I don`t know about everybody else but I`ll chime in with my experience. From first call to done with training was about 3 weeks. Called the recruiter and put in my app...got into orientation a week later. Spent the 2 days there and went out with my mentor Wednesday night. In orientation I was told I would have to go out for about 2 weeks cause I had prior experience but it was only 4 months worth...anything 6 or over and you went straight to solo. I was on my mentors truck for all of 6 days...left Wednesday night and was brought back Tuesday afternoon. Did all my testing out on Wednesday and should get my own truck later next week. I`m out of the Columbus terminal and I guess they`re really backed up in the shop. Other than that the whole process was real quick. I`ve heard I was pretty lucky to get it all done so quickly cause I guess that isn`t normal...but it works out for me...2 people in their small trucks for 6 weeks would be really annoying after time.

Once you get your own truck, you are no longer in training.[/QUOTE]
