I pray your logbook makes more sense than this post does. Maybe the Feds have you under their thumb for your secret code!

And how is it calculated, is that per nautical mile, or statute mile?
Big difference there, my friend. BIG DIFFERENCE!

This is really pretty funny actually. I simply was asking a simple queston if anyone had ever heard of a similar situation. Whats even funnier is you guys must really have no life if al you can do is sit around and talk about other people. As far as how much does a Boat Captain make per mile, we actually get paid by percentage of the catch. I left Atlanta on the 9th of July this year and was back in my house by the 10th of September and brought in almost 60,000 dollars probably more than most you guys make in two years. My plans are to buy a brand new truck and contract out for 6 months out of the year, continue to work in Alaska every summer, and spend the other three months with my wife and three kids at our beach house in Costa Rica.

So, you wanted to get into trucking because you thought you'd make more money and spend less time working?? :biggrin_2554:

$60K? Then why the hell are you wanting to get into trucking? Let's see... I've only made $63K in the last 3 months. So your right. We don't make no money. Plus your dream is unrealistic. No body in their right mind would trust a O/O that has no experience driving with their freight.
