Am I understanding this right. You drove for Pepsi and you tested positive for drugs. And now you want to go otr.
If this is a accurate account of things then maybe you should give up trucking.
Find another line of work. You come across as immature , just trying to find away to beat the system.

    TROOPER to TRUCKER Thanks this.

Stop worrying about DAC. However if your urine test was sent to the lab used by Pepsi and reported to the MRO regardless of what kind test it was you ARE DISQUALIFIED PERIOD. If you do not finish the SAP program you can not drive a CMV. If you do get another driving job you are driving illegally. If per chance you are in a serious accident and your driving history is checked this will be found out. Under these circumstances you are risking prison and a criminal record. I suggest you get in touch with Pepsi's safety dept and find out about this test. If it was a positive and they have a record of it you are disqualified. Contact a SAP they know how to get you through the process even if you had no relationship with Pepsi.

You took the time, and made the effort to get your CDL... Then went to your first orientation dirty, knowing that a pre hire drug test is a requirement? Now you want to know if you can lie about failing it to get a different driving job?

Does that about sums up the situation?

I don't see this career ending well for you.

Mike2633, TROOPER to TRUCKER and AM14 Thank this.

Don't know if fmcsa has started a program that is called drug and alcohol testing clearinghouse yet.But if they have any test that was failed including pre employment.that testing employer is required to send it in.Then a future employer is required to check this list before employment.the only way to get off the list is the treatment plan or five years has past. Not sure if they have started it yet.good luck

All companies are required to investigate/verify your previous 3 years of employment. Some use DAC others Tenstreet, but yes your failed drug test will come back to haunt you and you will have to complete the SAP program and then be hired by a company who wants to put up with the SAP requirements to hire you. You may think you are safe as you sit in orientation, but expect to be terminated due to falsification of your application. At which time they will hand you a sheet of paper with contacts for the SAP program in and around where you live. YOU will have to pay for the SAP procedure and then attempt to find another driving job.

    Mike2633 Thanks this.

True, but keep in mind for people new to trucking that failed drug tests NOT related to driving aren't going to be seen unless that company used Hireright.
