Because I have problems with audio epileptic triggers I wear ear buds playing classical music most all the time I am around 'my triggers'. I have never had them to fall out, at least not yet.
KillingTime Thanks this. -
I use these: Bluedio M2's (they have other earbuds and many affordable overhead styles as well). The little rubber bit hooks into the auricula of your ear (the superior crus, specifically). Never falls out. Bluetooth capable with pretty good range, microphone built in to take / make calls. And very affordable: $15 on EBay.

Mine are just cheap ones. $5 and they do the job. I did put the larger inserts in them to help block out ambient sounds.

They seem to have very cheap and very expensive ear buds. The cheap ones make the music sound like a tin can on a string. As for the expensive ones, if I'm going to spend thirty dollars or more I'll go to Best Buy.
