I have sleep apnea and I'm just wondering if that is going to affect being able to pass my DOT physical.
Thanks,
Rosa

If you can show compliance for the past 90 days and that it's working, you'll pass.
Can the data be downloaded from your machine; is so, you'll be ok.Lite bug, GrandmaRosa and truckdriver31 Thank this. -
I dont guess you have a cpap machine?
truckdriver31 Thanks this. -

it will affect blood pressure, etc.
Lite bug Thanks this. -
I have a CPAP machine but the two of us have not been getting along too well. I don't have any mandated compliance with my insurance company but my machine can download usage data. I'm trying to force myself to get used to it.
My blood pressure is fine, if anything it's on the lower end.
so if I have sleep apnea, I have to show that I've been using the machine for 90 days?
I also take a lot of medications, but no narcotics and nothing that is addictive that I'm aware of. Could this be a problem?truckdriver31 Thanks this. -

My family physician prescribed the CPAP machine but nothing to do with DOT. I don't know what a one year card is.
truckdriver31 Thanks this. -
Once you get compliant you will be given a medical card for 1 year.truckdriver31 Thanks this. -
