Well, sorry to revive an old thread, but I have a little update. The outriggers slide in and out.
The trailer is in my yard at the moment, and the surprise of the month was that it has very little rust for its age, no big ice "pancakes" and no through holes, very little rust for the age. A few holes in the bed are due to heavy equipment punching those holes, not due to rust. Should be all fixable by welding, not really even necessary. Based on the amount of rust, I believe strongly that most of its life it spent outside of Illinois.
