Those tuners are for pickup trucks not semi-trucks. If you want a good tune see someone like Welcome to Pittsburgh Power, or PDI or Bullydog.

I had a ts 6 position for my old 7.3 powersteoke. It was amazing how much it woke that engine up. That is my $.02

Dd15 can be a beast once tuned . A friend had one done in Montreal (diesel spec) they have remote tuning out west I believe .. His was a 2009 and he ran it 3 years with no issues that he spoke of.. bully dog may have tuners for it as well

Same with the TS in my 7.3. Sometimes I turn it off and just get amazed how flat and listless the truck is. I usually run it on the 75hp tune...freeway on ramps are a blast. Going up hills is a joke...it just pulls and pulls and pulls.

Truth be told the ecm is the key to tuning.
Find someone good at proper ecm tunning.

True, but the last guy who owned the truck did a delete via the ecm (blocked etc too), and left me with a permanent fault code (epa10 motor, code is for the intake valve - missing egr bullstuff) . I'd sooner just bolt one on and let it do it's thing.
