I have never touched anything at anytime at any Wal-Mart anywhere weather be a store or DC. Even when I drove LTL.

No. Wal~mart drivers do not touch, load, or unload any freight.

Closest a Walmart driver comes to 'unloading' (absolutely no loading) is if you do grocery, and all you do then is WATCH the store associates unload the pallets for their store, then you reseal the trailer for the next stop (unless that was your only our last stop). You don't touch a thing. With GM (general merchandise) you don't even go in the store or deal with anybody...you put the paperwork in the door handle, back it in, drop and hook the empty trailer and off you go. I did this as a contact carrier (with JB Hunt out of Johnstown NY) and saw how it was done, so I know what I'm getting into which is the easiest, best driving job out there. 21 days till I start at Walmart.

You can still apply. You would have to put in a year at where evr you got in then transfer closer to home. We have drivers transfering out next month.

Huge congrats NYVET !!! You will love it. From reading your posts, I know how the wait was driving you crazy.

ppbr2001, keep checking the site, as they update it all the time. The wife kept checking it for me, every couple of days. DC was posted on August 19th, and my application was in August 20th.

    ppbr2001 Thanks this.
