Does WeBoost work like it states?
Best option for steadier internet, calls (reduces dropped calls, reception, clarity of call)?
Anyone using something else for calls/internet stability?

I see that now, Yep you are right. The one I got was the small little thing and it didn't do much at all in the car.

I got their "Drive" system for my pickup and their building system for the house because of the distance from the cell towers. These work and have used wilson for the past 15 years.

I use this at my house and it works pretty well. I used to have to stand by the windows to get service, and it would be 1-2 bars at best. Now I get 3-4 bars when I'm in the room with the booster. In order for it to work best, you'll want an app to figure out which direction the tower with the best signal is. The U-bolts that come with the kit fit perfectly on a load lock, which is what I'm using between the roof overhang and the ground as my antenna pole. The other thing you'll want to figure out is how to run the signal wire into the truck.

It will not get you service where none exists, it will only boost weak signals. I don't think it will be much use driving if the antenna is directional, but I haven't tested it over the road.

Used it (Wilson with a cradle to set the phone in) lots in remote areas. It worked as advertised: if there is even a hint of a signal, it will boost it; if there is no signal, you're SOL.

There were a couple of models up-line from the one I bought; one had a plug-in for the phone, the other had an internal antenna so you could "roam" around the inside of the truck (lol) and didn't have to have the phone in the cradle.
