How did you jump ship to werner on a class A restricted CDL?

Many companies got out of being in the driving school business. They discovered that the industry was giving about half a million per year training with CDL etc and then they get hired on to someone else really quickly for better pay, better equiptment etc. There is no value in trying to train someone from the street and nothing at all to drive a truck.

It's still going to cost you a few thousand dollars either way, so bite the bullet go to school, get the CDL and move forward. Make sure you pay the 5000 or whatever dollars you owe the first year. It's a investment that can potentially pay you back 3 million or more miles in 30 years or less. 3 million at .50 a mile is about a million and half gross dollars.
