I just recently got the boss to buy me a nice new Legacy driver seat in my daycab. It was replacing the previous one that I had been using Gorilla tape to hold the rips closed on for months (seat was like that when we purchased it), not to mention it was the most uncomfortable POS I ever rode on. Hell, the back of the seat only came up to about the bottom of my shoulder blades (and I'm not a huge guy either...) Absolutely kills my back on trips longer than 150 miles non-stop. But I digress.....

The mechanic at the shop thanked me profusely after we got the old one out and were bolting and connecting air to the new one. When I asked him why he would thank me, he got this faraway look in his eye, like you hear folks describing the "thousand yard stare" from being in combat....It sent an icy chill up my back, and as I asked him if he was alright, he slowly turned to me, and in a voice barely louder than a whisper said......

"There's some things that some drivers do in their trucks that NO man should be forced to see, smell, or have to touch. I'm just #### glad you're not one of those....."

As his eyes went back to that faraway place, with a sort of horrified look on his face, I gently led him over to the break room and sat him down.....He didn't move by the time I finished tightening up and firing my Pete up. I'll never forget the look on his face.....:biggrin_2555::biggrin_2556:
