Thanks for all the advice. One post touched on something I was going to ask. When you watch any Youtube videos on trucking the drivers usually are in their socks. The company I will be working for provides towels to put on the floor and a tray for your shoes. Do most of you drive without shoes? I test drove for a few small outfits where you wouldn't even dream of taking of your shoes. Filthy smelly trucks that had never been cleaned! This outfit gives you a small bonus for a clean truck!

Ya, I would definitely wear something on your feet. What if you get into an accident? You gonna "Die Hard" it and walk through the glass and boiling radiator fluid and such? Get yourself a nice comfortable pair of shoes that look decent. Also have a good pair of boots for winter or inclement weather. Some guys like to have flip flops for when they take a shower so may want to get a cheap pair of those. Whatever you do, look professional while you are out there. Don't be a shlub! You will find yourself getting loaded/unloaded in no time if you present yourself in a professional manor and you will be more apt to get what you want. Keep in mind that you are representing your company when dealing with their customers out there.
Same goes for orientation and school. Dress nice! You don't have to wear a shirt and tie but a button down or collared shirt with a nice pair of unwrinkled pants or jeans. Believe it or not this could very well make the decision as to what truck you will be issued when you are done training. You think they are going to give a nice new truck to someone who can't take care of themselves? They will notice, trust me! -
Shlub: Are you from NYC?? I havent heard that word for a long time!! I would never drive in: Sweats, track pants, ripped jeans or shorts. No T shirts with holes either. Neat and clean! Thanks for the reply! Bruce

Laundry is simple on the road. When you go in to take your shower put the cloths in the washer. When you get out of the shower you put the cloths in the dryer, and go eat dinner. Then when dinner is done you go fold your cloths and be on your way. No waiting around and seting special time aside to do cloths. You just interweave them into two things you should already be doing fairly common.
