I remember the first time I went to Dundalk..... John Deere tractors I think.... They told me I couldn't load my own. After watching about 5 Keen trucks come, load themselves and leave I kind of think they were messing with me. Those port guys are a laugh a minute

wore out, 4mer trucker and MJ1657 Thank this.

Keen trucks have a separate agreement with the Stevadores at Dundalk.Because of the volume they load/unload,they have special loading/unloading privileges.

Loaded Case excacators out of Dundalk....I forget what terminal but I think they were loading double drops with New Holland combines at the same place. They wouldn't let me load. Those boys ran a tight ship.

    4mer trucker Thanks this.

Went to ld this broke unit.. seems it won't re gen.. So it was fun walking and lding a D8T in de rate mode.
Plus broken side window.. I called and got approved to remove it. Then clean out tracks, plus pine tree branches and cones off the dozer.. lost almost 2 hours over that
But got it on, chained and rolling north
    Just another day . lol

when loading out of Dundalk, about the only help ever, was the consignees hostlers would bring the units to the loading zone. That was usually only the big units. If any of them was in a good mood, you might get them to spot.

Any thing small was go fetch your self.
After looking at two or three loaders, they all start to look the same.
    And never in number order.

    rank Thanks this.
