Just the other day we loaded a stamping press on a Landstar lowboy. When the driver pulled up, I asked him where he wanted it and all I got was a "deer in the headlights" look, the guy didn't have a clue. We ended up loading it where we thought thought it needed to be, chaining it, and letting him have some tie blocks to sit it own.I even had to explain to him that it was a lot heavier on the flywheel side was the reason why it wasn't sitting in the center of the trailer.
I actually felt sorry for the guy, he was in way over his head. I guess he made it to his destination, I didn't hear any different.Big Don, Dye Guardian, PeteyFixAll and 6 others Thank this.
