$800 to $1,200 a week. It's hard work. Back into tough places sometimes and then unload. The good thing is that you're home weekly.

There's a reason that they push these "dollar store" gigs on new drivers.

It's a reason these dollar store gigs are ALWAYS hiring at these big trucking companies. Being home at least every weekend is not one of them. The accounts are labor intensive and can be dangerous while you are driving and unloading. You gotta unload the whole truck. Some people have trouble unloading half the trailer. Once you're on the account and you gain experience you will discover jobs that will pay you the same for delivering no touch freight and I promise that you will be TURNED OFF by having to unload that trailer at that point.

Surviving is key to being successful on this account. Work hard for 9 months to a year and become a trainer. If you keep it pushin and help your trainee unload the trailer you can make serious bank!

If home time is not important. If you aren't a hard worker willing to work 2 jobs. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!

Haha, with the price of dog food that actually sounds pretty good, Charlie my little Yorkie may have a meal without hurting my extremely light pocket
