Screw dollar general. I was there almost 5 hours, I got there early for my appointment. They claimed the shipper loaded a pallet wrong, so when they picked a pallet up, one pallet knocked two other pallets over and they had to restack. They claim they will call you on the CB, its not true. I went inside three times to check with the lumper. 30 minutes after checking with the lumper, the yard jockey tells me they are done and i Can move. I go inside, get my paper work and they stamped it that they finished unloading 50 minutes prior. I told the lady behind the receiving counter, she was rude and nasty. She told me I wasn't getting detention pay and that I was blocking the dock and that's why they told me to move. I was livid. I did get detention pay, and I wished that lady the worst.

 

I think the OP was talking about working out of dollar general driving for Werner. Schneider and Werner both work that account out of Bessemer. Its hard work and blind side backing to most stores.
