I feel like he's probably a new guy and the dispatcher or whatever told him to hug the breakdown lane on the low side. 2 things....#1, he's completely in the breakdown lane. #2, he was haulin arse to do that much damage.
Pros won't do it. 840 is a fine road despite the fact that you pick up about 10 or 20 miles.......money well spent

Oxbow, stwik and Crusader66 Thank this.

No, it was a sleeper truck. I’d post the company but I don’t know if that is against the rules.

I’m going to bet he didn’t have the doubles endorsement for pulling a jeep. He’s actually lucky nobody got hurt.

    I’d wager between $15-$20 mil.

That’s something that Bulldog would do...they put a rookie in a truck pulling a 2+3+2 and the driver tried to make a turn and was going to drop the trailer in a drainage ditch. He was trying to back up, but kept jackknifing the stinger. I had a pilot car take me to him and tried to explain how to get the weight off the stinger and lock it in place. He had no clue. First load with that trailer.

I was going to tag you because I figured you’d know the area. I’ve been up through there a bunch but never with a superload.

He’s a cowboy or in over his head either way it’s a careless mistake. This is the kind of thing I was conveying to you the other day when you went off route. I realize your load was nothing like this but this is a lesson learned the hard way. It also why I hate over height.
