Seems to be in good condition, there’s a 9v battery, I changed it, will plug it in when I get a chance to see if it still works, got my first CB back in the 80’s but don’t recall ever seeing one of these
It's an OEM microphone that you'll see on EBay from time-to-time. Usually I'll see it as the Sylvania brand... VINTAGE SYLVANIA SDX-100 HAND HELD MICROPHONE NOS. | eBay
OK I figured this one out. This is a MURA PRX-100 mic. It came out in 1977 and was sold in different forms (packaged/branded) until 1991.
If it still works it's better than any mic I've ever used. I got a Ranger SRA 198 for Christmas to run in my dump truck and it quit transmitting Saturday. I was moving other peoples meter but no audio was getting out. I'm so tired of mic's failing.
