Can’t answer that. All we can say for certain is that the Sun and Moon appear to be sphereical. The rest of the planets are more difficult to say what they really are if you discount NASA’s pretty CGIs. Some amature footage of Mars...kind of looks round. spherical who knows.

 

I’m not sure I buy there being nothing to separate Earth’s atmosphere from the vacuum of space either. Of course the magic answer is gravity, which itself is a unproven theory, so the whole thing turns into circular logic tail chasing. You either swallow it whole hog or you don’t. I used to, but lately I have found no logical other choice but to question everything that cannot be independently verified.

 

Can a bird fly simply because it is a bird and has feathers?

No. Of course not.

Therefore, it is an assumption to say that all birds can fly because we know that there are flightless birds.

In this same way, NASA scientists make the assumption that since planets appear to be spherical, then all planets must be spherical.

In my view of the flat Earth, there are no planets, but rather anomalous stars. And I keep my view of flat Earth as closely as I can in accordance to what the bible says.

The bible states that there are only the Sun, Moon, and stars in the sky with a firmament separating the waters above from the waters below.

No mention of any planets.

Granted, these anomalous stars or "planets" certainly do look curious, but with a dome firmament overhead, mankind will never truly know.

I believe outer space and the possibility of space travel is nothing more than fantasy.

 

The globe Earth model has no physical barrier between the vacuum of outer space and the pressurized gas in our atmosphere.

Unless the 2nd law of thermodynamics is no longer a natural physical law, then there HAS to be a barrier between pressurized gas and empty space, otherwise the gas fills the space.

But it is the flat Earthers who need to learn basic physics. Wow.

 

If the moon is 238,000 miles away, how is it that the moon can be so easily zoomed in on?

I guess I get it why people are loathe to believe this and get angry or incredulous. I was a big fan of Star Trek The Next Generation and thought for sure the future would look something like that sooner or later, but now I am not so sure. I don't remember being particularly bummed out when I was old enough to realize Santa Claus wasn't real or when I was a little older than that and figured out that the United States wasn't really the "good guys" in any major war (everybody thinks they're the good guys...just ask them.) But this one actually kind of does bum me out a little if it is true.
