You don't think there's some forum somewhere for brokers who complain someone came in cut the rate to take a smaller margin and still paid the truck 850? If they are making that much it's an invitation to solicit the customer directly or just stop pulling that load altogether. Service isn't free.

Complaining about it isn't working guys..........

Another poster once said "Ehh, Shippers use Brokers,We tried securing customer for 7 years,And it doesn't work"

You guys are Crazy letting middle parties dictate your business...Overpower what you hear,Or what Big Business heads in trucking/brokerage WANT you to know.

Assuming Customers DID want to use Brokers, Lets just assume that.......... Do You Really think They will continue to move their products via a broker if they knew How their transportation costs were distributed??

Some still will (Because the Broker Puts on a Huge dog n Pony Show manipulating the customer that its the ONLY way to move their products)... But Most Customers would be embarrassed and ashamed If they Knew.

    HERES THE PROBLEM:

You guys are not vigilant enough to let these customers Know How their transportation costs are distributed.

Is it a dangerous game to play? It can be, But Its worth every effort you put forth, And it works

Stayinback I'm curious how many trucks are you operating with? I find it very daunting to go to a customer and tell them I can help with 1 load a week or otherwise a very low amount. It seems like everybody hauling for them has 5 at the minimum. I am just a 1 truck show right now.

Also I like not being tied to one customer. Maybe I'm just trying to justify my existence by working for the pimps. I am happy with the deals I have in place though.

1 truck- 2 trailers..And 6 outbound customers and several inbound customers

If the Pimps are making you wealthy- Your an exception to the rule....

Don't be ashamed to offer a customer your services with only 1 truck........Even if your a Van- Yeah I know,Shippers want volume, But there are many looking for service and value.
