Dont GO to DOMENICO

No touch freight with Safeway? Now I know you are full of it. Safeway is a unload your own trailer account, has been since Greatwide was in there, you get keys to the store, have to put everything in the coolers, and spend an average of 3 hours at each stop. You show up, electric pallet jack is dead, the back room is a mess that YOU THE DRIVER has to clean up, then you can start unloading. Not to mention they top load everything! I wonder what fuel Domenico is using now that they can't steal it from Kroger?

 

Domenico is pulling for someone now, not sure who. They have a bunch of new Pete's and a new yard, formerly a truck sales yard in Commerce City beside 270 and Hwy 6&85.

Thanks everyone for posting. I was contacted about a position with this outfit recently, really pro recruiter asked me to come downtown for a "Formal Interview", pretty straightforward interview and she did not really seem to be taking just anyone with a pulse, (or so it would seem) could this be a PR tactic? I will conduct the live interview if asked and update. So far I'm not seeing the dark underbelly here, they are disclosing the bad and I'm liking the good.

 

Good luck with Domenico. Maybe they turned over a new leaf.

Well I got on with Frito Lay and its been great. I see a bunch of Dominco's tractors sitting in there yard off of 270

 

I guess the swanky recruiter did not see me as Domenico material... So no harm no foul game on.

 

Pfft. Their loss.

 

Apparently I'm supposed to receive an email to that affect...time will tell.
