Hopefully the truck driver has a job to go back to.
God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.! -
I don't. That driver appeared to be a menace on the road. Especially considering that he's a tanker driver. Thought they were supposed to be super responsible drivers. That was not what I would tolerate if he worked for me...

I was just about to post this same link....
THIS DRIVER DID NOTHING WRONG!!! INFACT HE DID EVERYTHING RIGHT, OTHER WISE MANY, MANY PEOPLE WOULD HAVE DIED ON THAT BRIDGE!
Officials come right out and admit in this link (see quote) that the driver was already on the interstate BEFORE blockades went up. He DID NOT go around blockades, he was already past them before they were installed.
Thank God that some of the protesters had the presence of mind to try and help this driver.Gearjammin' Penguin, Nostalgic, Bean Jr. and 2 others Thank this. -
Authorities believe the semi truck drive did not intend to drive into the crowd on I-35W
And another link to officials saying driver was already on interstate BEFORE blockades were in place.Bean Jr., tommymonza and Dennixx Thank this. -
I believe I read he was a independent contractor so may own his truck

Well except for going over the speed limit and failing to watch ahead. If that had been a bunch of cars backed up you guys would not be cheering for him.... -
Pretty harsh.
Glad you are not a safety directorBean Jr. Thanks this. -
The only reason nobody died was because they ran. If they were sitting in cars someone would have been injured...
Driver was not paying attention. Terrible dereliction of duty imo
