You sap suckers are going to learn to leave my friend Vic alone. I may pass him this radio active can of whip tail I just put on the market for 3 easy payments of 19.95 that you can only get while supplies last from the super truckers hall of fame.com Where I'm not only the president but an Inductee. Dude if he pops the top on this. Well there's only two words that come to mind. BLOOD & GUTS!! There will be Lessor cheerleader's, and Vic hater body parts for miles. You have been warned. Cease and assist or there will be consequences and repercussions.

Vic...since you keep ridiculing every co someone else drives for... Answer this would you....what company do you drive for???...I know people been asking for the longest and you still haven't answered...so here's this...if you don't answer then I guess it's safe to say that the rest of us can come to a conclusion that you're not driving because NO one will even touch you...

I don't get this whole thing about a certain poster and any company I run for. It's silly. I'm not recruiting for them, I mean if you come over on because of me, so be it. I'm not getting paid to tell of my experience here (something he's accused me of before), I like to talk and like to talk trucking and what I do and hey, if you're not happy, come over and give it a chance. I don't get a recruiting bonus because they don't know me as "Joseph1135". You can attack me all you want over failures to become a decent driver. And at 65 years old, dude, really? Here's the deal. You can't keep up. It's all good. I'm not gonna hate on you for it. But don't try to piss in my Cheerios about what you can't do. It's about money, kid. I told you. I'm gonna get mine. One mile at a time.

Now to touch on a "company culture", remember, homeboy worked at gut for a couple of weeks and couldn't make it, this isn't GTI. They don't tell us what to do and when to do it and how it should be done. Their words, get the load there, safely, legally, and that's that. In the old days we tore up the highways and passed everybody except for the bull racks and the Ruskies. That ended in 2009/2010. If a driver screws up here, he's usually let go. They don't tolerate it. And they shouldn't.

Sure. May not mean a big accident is around the corner, and hopefully not a big accident. But crashes are not 'accidents'. A high Driver Safety score, where the lower the score the better, sends up a big, big red flag. It results from law enforcement observing dangerous behavior on the road. Over a 2-year period and across a fleet. In Lessors case, over 300 power units.

A driver operating in unsafe fashion, puts people in danger.

As drivers, that should especially matter to us.

That crash and the FedEx up in California. I'm sure Wal-Mart, with their high-pay and emphasis on safety and new equipment feels really, really burned. Something went terribly wrong there.

CRST?? Here's CRST Malone's score: Unsafe Driving 85.8%; HOS (Hours of Service) 76.2%; Driver Fitness 70.9%; Vehicle Maintenance 81.8%. Those are all high alert levels. 138 reportable crashes in the last 2 years, 6 fatalities, 58 injuries, 74 towaways. See: http://ai.fmcsa.dot.gov/SMS/Data/carrier.aspx?enc=GpeQ1DZTvMdRuJtvQ6P9qg==

The CSA score is a pretty darn good insight into the culture of a company, even those with under 100 trucks. The Haz outfit I drove for had a high driver safety score, not as bad as Lessors, but high. Our loads were always 'late when we got them'. Once you establish the company culture, it's difficult to change even with a small trucking company. Becomes structural. Involves dispatch, customers, drivers, all of the above.

You're entitled to your opinion, Air Breeze. The treatment of the OP on this thread bothered me. Don't know enough about Lessors to have an opinion yet. I'm just pointing out the available facts. Lessors makes clear on its web page that not taking a load is not acceptable. Drivers know that going in.

Yes, I think so. There is a possible reason to look to. One driver complaint about HTLD is being up all day waiting for a load and then dispatched to run all night because supposedly you've been 'off-duty' and have available hours. HTLD can have the great, picture-perfect CSA score and then completely unravel it with a practice like that and put the driver and the public in danger at same time.

CSA gives us something we never really had before. We can look at 2 years worth of tickets, look at each one, look at each reportable crash the company has been involved in. That's a powerful tool
