This company treats drivers like dirt and don't fix their equipment when you tell them something is wrong. And won't fix things until it breaks. Also blame driver's for things failing mechanically

    Concorde Thanks this.

    35.1% oos for vehicles.

Only going to end up with a trashed psp working for companies like.

Maybe they need to change their name to Skidmark Trans :)

If you look at their SMS most of their vehicle out of service violations are related to cargo securement and that’s 100% on the driver.

I only looked because they seem to run decent equipment. I’m not defending them in any way, I have no knowledge of them other than seeing their trucks up and down the road when I ran Utah all the time.

    Concorde Thanks this.

They do a lot of steel. Also lots of crushed car loads.

    Lonesome and Concorde Thank this.

Yeah 100% on the driver- for taking a job hauling crushed cars. The nature of the job makes it almost impossible to do legally on a flatbed. Stack 'em three high, throw netting over them. Strap 'em down with chains and hope some mangled metal doesn't shift.
They should be in a solid trailer with a rolling tarp at the top, but that's almost never going to happen. Companies that do this work accept tickets as part of the business. Drivers will come and go.

I’ve never done crushed cars, but we hauled a lot of baled metal from Missoula down to the shredder at Orchard and never had any issues. We didn’t carry chains so it was all edge protectors and straps. Tied it down same as anything else.

    Lonesome Thanks this.
