For new drivers, don't smash your grill on somebodies trailer. I have seen this done many times. For other drivers , dont stop in the fuel bay to do your taxes and , if you notice your favorite episode of Law and Order on in the lounge, do park your truck. Also, don't make up stories about how you used to be a CIA operative in the Diner.

Oh you've run into that CIA operative too huh? That guy really makes the rounds! So does the Navy Seal guy who is now a trucker eating macaroni and cheese out of the buffett!

Oh, you are referring to Fed Ex day cabs, Con Way/CTI (any of them) some UPS, Roadway/Yellow, etc. If they can drive so #### fast in truck stop why not use some of that same pedal on the road. I know Fed Ex does, they just dont slow down period!! Just Sayin!!

    AMEN.

They must not be as picky as I thought. Cause they got some real winners over there.

Just learned today the previous driver of my truck rolled it over then went to work for Fed-Ex. Accident was totally avoidable.

The guy who empties his ashtray right next to his door. As a smoker this annoys the hell outta me. How bout using that 44oz soda cup you have laying on your dash, dump the tray in there n throw it out. Ohhh, wait, you just pee'd in that cup n dumped it out the window. Sorry, my bad.

Old School here and totally agree with the quote. I've been off the road for a couple yrs but then while walking into trkstop for a meal or shower, I would routinely offer to help drivers trying to slide trlr tandems, without them having to ask!
I've gone as far as dollying trlr down and unhooking and moving tractor so the guy trying to get into the next dock (very tight fit, he tried 3 times to get in) could have more room to manuever into the dock.
If I park next to someone for the nite and they have their windows cracked, if it is comfortable I will shut off my truck, if not I will try to park elsewhere.
i disagree with the poster that said drive n trkstop at nite with parking lites only, sometimes the reflection of headlites lets other driver know you are coming around that blind corner.
I agree going to parking lites when waiting behind someone trying to park.
If you're parking for the nite go to the back of the lot, leave the front row for drivers wanting to grab a bite and drive on.
This is the way it should be and was 20 yrs ago!
We're all just trying to do a difficult job the best we can, why not co-operate?
