You want to see funny... Last year I pulled into our scale with a set of triples. I watched 10 little pumpkins turn their backs to me... No one wanted to check 14 sets of brakes!

In Tennessee they used to have a sign right before an exit ramp saying that at the next exit they are doing a drug and alcohol inspection or search. It was funny to see out of state 4 wheelers exit real quick. Little did they know was at the end of that ramp 10 cop cars where waiting there to search their cars. I heard they made a lot of drug busts when they did that. We never know who is passing us out on the road and what they are up to. Cant imagine what it would feel like to have 500 lbs of marijuana in the car and get stopped by some DEA agents. First thought would be..." I don't think I will be sleeping at home tonight" lol

New Mexico got an early start on Roadcheck this year. Monday heading from Durango, Co. to Farmington, NM on 550 about 9am, three NM troopers setup at the little shack of a coop, that in 17 yrs I've never seen open before. Quick looksy at my permit book and a wave goodbye, though when I came back the other way an hour later, they appeared to be giving extra special attention to 12 axle oversize.

I live in Merrimack, NH and there's a road about 5 miles long that connects one town from another. It's a very heavily traveled road. I'm home and had to go back and forth on that road today maybe 7 times. Our DOT guy was going back and forth non stop all day pulling over trucks.
Cranky Yankee Thanks this. -
I got pulled over on Hwy 14 in Washington yesterday morning, just for a level 3. 5 friends of mine were pulled over in Oregon over the weekend for speeding, doing 57 in a 55, just a warning, but was excuse to do a level 2 on all of them.
