Listening to Road Dog News on SiriusXM and couldn't believe the drivers calling in and being disappointed that they didn't see more inspections or didn't get stopped. IF they want an inspection so bad, roll on the scale about 20 mph and slam on the brakes, you'll get one then. I'd rather they just leave me alone so I can keep moving.

Day two of the blitz and I still have not seen any trucks being inspected.
Half of the stations were closed.

Maybe tomorrow is when they pull everyone in?

Yup. I've only got 14 hours to LEGALLY get my job done and get back home. The longer I'm sitting on the side of the road dealing with the revenuers, the more likely it is that I'll be in violation of the HOS by the time I get home. I don't care WHO you are, you ain't telling me I have to shut down and get a motel room 30 miles from the house because the DOT decided to hold me up. If it wasn't safe, I wouldn't be driving it.

There are no CSA points for less than 5 over...so there is no reason to want to have anything to fight.

I passed by those about 3-4 hours ago and they were both closed. There was a Schneider truck with a service truck on the northbound side and nothing at all going on with the southbound side. I was surprised because Scale Buddy showed them being open all day.

Missouri scales in St. Clair were open EB but closed WB. The WB scale in E. St. Louis on 70 was open and pulling trucks around back.

The dinky little scale on US24 in Illinois was closed.
