    It is on a dodge.

    He has had 3 turbos.
He has had major problems with the egr, something about a filter in the valve cover.

His computer has problems with the deletes he has done as well.

Personally, I will keep my 5.9 which has 736,690 miles on it as long as possible.

It almost died Sunday in Newfoundland when I almost missed a moose.

If you think that egr will not cause problems and it has not then I'm very very glad for you. Just think about what it does! There is NO WAY and engine will last as long with an egr. Blowing in hot exhaust? Really.
I am truely glad your is not problematic. Your does not have an dpf right? These things will hurt performance bad. When mine when to Chevy it was over 85% clogged up they said.

So my truck was only able to rid its self of 15% of the exhaust....ouch poor little truck

I know alot of trucks still running fine with 200-300k on them, all still stock. And yes my truck has the dpf. My truck and the others all pull loaded trailers 99% of the time . I'm not saying its good or bad, just saying I get the same mpgs as the deleted guys, and my trucks never let me down, So I'm just leaving it be for now.
