dot log book inspections

Some DOT officers still like to imagine that most truck drivers are out on the road falsifing their log book burning themselves with ciggerettes to stay awake so they can make more money like in the days of Jimmy Hoffa and they are the publics protectors the fact is we are so regulated not just bye DOT But By the companys we work for with onboard computers and GPS DOT has been reduced to nothing more then type O cops they look to see if you forgot to write in the date or mispelled a word but to them a ticket is a ticket and Im sure they feel good about protecting the public from truck drivers who have bad hand writting.

 

The comment about driving 20 hrs and sleeping 4 hrs. That is a truck driver "story."
