    If it was used to contact the employer, the phone number would be on the records at the employer when they search their phone records. It would still come back to bite.

    some how, some way, if you are at fault they will prove it... just that easy these days. cell phones, fuel recpts. etc, etc.

    Even if you are not at fault, they will try to put the blame on you. Like, if you were running legal and all, you would not have been there for the client to have hit. Therefore, your fault.

    I am going to say he was getting his information from this but I could be wrong. This was posted on the FMCSA website on 2/9. If you got the message a few days ago then here is what he is reading.

    I am not real clear on the qualcom being accessed. I don't see the words "qualcom". I could be wrong though. Here is something for everyone to discuss but always wait for a confirmation

    It is now one of the supporting sources to the logs when dot does audit.

    I believe I read it in Landline and on here. Was announced recently and requires the carriers to maintain the files longer than they were. It was to be effective 1/1/09.

    Q-comms "GPS" has so much lag it isn't funny.
    i had to backtrack 50 miles last week to swap loads because the Q-comm said i was in georgetown Ky.
