Dot physical and drug test at the same time.

They used the same for both last time I did a new hire drug test and physical.

 

I did have one a few years back and the nurse dipped the stick in there and flushed the cup contents and all that and then realized I needed a drug test too. So out in the waiting room I went chugging water. I’d give your nurse a friendly reminder you’re there for both when you’re back there with her so they don’t dump it too quick.

 

Chugging water so you can pee again can lead to inconsistent results.
One result is that they see it as an attempt to dilute the sample.

 

Under those circumstances I doubt that would be an issue at all.

 

It also raises your blood pressure . If you have issues with your BP , chugging water will make it even higher .

 

It still would not matter if doing a drug test, unless you have a heart attack lol

 

I thought a lot of guys had trouble getting a card because of their BP was too high

 

Yes like me. I was just saying if you go in for a drug test, they will not be checking your BP, at least that has never been my experience. Or like someone mentioned, if you go in for both and do your physical and they toss your urine sample I don't think drinking a ton of water is going to be an issue. Now if you do the drug test first and they toss it, I suppose it could be a problem
