Life is not a therapy session. For some reason too many people think if they spill every detail about their life nothing bad will happen. Double-ditto anything related to drugs. It's OK to not blow up your career. Some people recommend it.

Once again. I didn’t understand the severity of such physical. I have learned Honesty Open mindedness and Willingness will have me well on my way. It definitely didn’t apply here.
I very well may have just ended my career before it even started. If that is so idk how I’d ever forgive myself.

Ohh well, on to the next one.

Honesty is not always the best policy.

Don't say anything about applying with Werner. You were not an employee, so no reason to mention it.

You might get a sooner orientation date with Stevens Transport.

I think people just want to do the right thing. Tell the truth, mom said, well, doesn't work that way anymore. I've been in scales during a blitz, and I saw 1st hand how some drivers got themselves in worse trouble by shooting their mouths off. I'm not saying that's what happened here, but a lesson learned, I bet. Again, you'll be fine, nothing went anywhere, you're still cool, but in the future, discretion is advised.

    Another good suggestion thank you.

I looked into Stevens and there are so many bad reviews. I know Western can have bad reviews as well but I feel good about going with them.

Also, I am signed up to be a dry van driver, I did not know until you said so that flat bed gets more miles. We shall see. I will definitely update this thread come end of February.

Another great view point. Thank you! I have been having sleepless nights about this all. I am more at ease now.

All companies get bad reviews. The happy, content drivers usually don't post anything.

I worked for one company that had a strict policy of no tattoos. I have quite a few from my Navy days. When I learned about the no-tattoo policy, I wore a long sleeve shirt to the interview and orientation. Was hired and about 18 mos or so later the terminal manager noticed a tattoo showing from my long sleeve shirt. He said, If I'd know about that, wouldn't have hired you, but you're one of our best drivers, so you get a pass on that.
