My PCP is giving me meds, I stated above, "....Finally got in and my test was not so good..." so yes I'm seeing my PCP and is under their care. Also, I state, "So my doctor has given me some meds to take to flush stuff out of my system more." I'm not trying to gain the system, I'm trying to see how best to see how I'm doing and if a urine test will help other than what I'm doing as type above, just another data point.

Get yourself a glucometer, that will give you the answers you seek and help manage your a1c.
-
How do you keep track of glucose levels?
-
Yeah, you need another doc, you don’t just go on meds and flush anything out. There is more to it than just that, those meds have to go along with monitoring, which isn’t just piss test. Your doc needs to send you to an endocrinologist and a dietitian (as much as I hate them) to get you straight. 11% gives you a daily glucose level at 269 which is really bad and with any drop from the meds can cause a serious crash. Maybe your doc should put you on insulin to get the number down?

You can drive truck while taking insulin but the documentation is tremendous and neverending,
