Some companies will review your physical and conduct an "interview" in which you are asked about any issues that may or may not be listed on your physical to insure that you are indeed physically able to do the job with no restrictions. Then you'll have to deal with a strength/agility test. As long as you have no restrictions on your movements with the arm, and have a doctors release, you should be fine. Sounds like you've laid off the pain meds, which is a really good thing. If they show on your drug screen, you're safe if you have a prescription, but it's better that none of that shows up at all. As for the inhaler, it all depends on what the medication is, and it is safest to list it and explain during the interview the frequency in which it's used. If you get a job and down the line get picked for a random UA and it's in your system, you'll have some explaining to do.
Protect yourself and like others have said check with a good CDL doctor on your inhaler and get rid of the narcotics. I'd even go and show the doctor you don't need them anymore and let him get rid of them. Sure there's plenty of drivers that have used those meds but they are dangerous. Even when you have all your information checked out and you're as legal as they come just one accident and that opposing lawyer is going to blame the meds. He'll see his winning shot at deep pockets and I've seen it before where they spend days checking everything. So it's CYOA.
